Di Marzio Pickups chief design engineer and Vice-President
Blucher, left LoBue/Thompson Guitar lab when Carl and Charles split and worked briefly for Carl Thompson at his new store. About a year later he returned to LoBue at 206 Thompson. When Larry Di Marzio left LoBue guitars in late 1973 or early 1974 Blucher went with him. Although exact dates are not recalled, Blucher worked with DiMarzio in his Repair Shop in Staten Island and also worked part time at Alex Musical prior to the formation of Di Marzio Pickup Company.
