G6120SLTV Nashville Prototype. Having grown up in Brooklyn and attending college right down the road from the Gretsch building, I've always had a soft spot for the stuff. Also, I'm a humbucker guy in a single-coil world. Well..... this was real simple. Mike had this prototype in his office. I walked in, grabbed it –it felt great! I took it to a gig and that was it. I offered to pay for it (which I did), but that was really perfunctory. It was never coming back to the office. Never.
